Executive Board

Sareen Muthyala is a rising Junior studying Biophysics. He is originally from New Jersey and has been competing in Model UN competitions since his freshman year of high school. Sareen is excited and honored to serve as President of HOPMUN and looking forward to the upcoming MUN season. Outside of HOPMUN, Sareen is the UnderSecretary General of Assemblies of HOPMUNC, Hopkin’s MUN conference. In addition, Sareen is a Hopkins Votes ambassador, patient advocate volunteer, and researcher at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Adi Neelamana is a senior at Johns Hopkins University majoring in International Studies with a concentration in Security Studies. Born in Staten Island, NY, Adi lived in India for 11 years before coming to Baltimore. Adi serves as the Vice President, where he hopes to work alongside the President and Treasurer to ensure efficient communication between members of Exec and O-Board and to provide subject matter expertise on administrative work for the club. Outside of HopMUN, Adi is the S1 (Personnel Officer) for the Johns Hopkins Army ROTC Blue Jay Battalion and hopes to branch into Military Intelligence or Air Defense Artillery upon graduation. Yvette Shu is a junior at Johns Hopkins University double majoring in political science and international studies. She hails from a quiet suburb in Los Angeles, California, and she still misses the warm summer rays. Yvette is excited to serve as the Treasurer of the Model UN Team and manage finances, oversee directors, and guide the team. Outside of MUN, Yvette works as a member of Blue Key Society at Hopkins, conducts health and economic inequity research, and volunteers around Baltimore and Maryland.
